About These Terms

These Terms of Service apply to purchases made through Latch & Pane.

Latch & Pane is operated by ASHGLASS LIMITED, a private limited company registered in England and Wales.

By placing an order, the customer agrees to these Terms of Service and the policies linked from them.

Nothing in these terms limits rights provided by applicable UK consumer law.

Customer Eligibility

Customers placing an order should have the legal capacity to enter into a purchase contract.

Products sold through the store are intended primarily for personal and household use rather than commercial resale.

Product Information

We provide product descriptions, dimensions, materials, colours, pack quantities and intended-use information on the relevant product pages.

Please review this information before placing an order.

Product images are provided to show the design and construction of each item. Screen settings and lighting can affect how colours appear.

Measurements stated on the product page should be checked before purchase, particularly where a product needs to fit a specific door, window, cabinet or surface.

Prices and VAT

All prices are displayed in pounds sterling (GBP) unless stated otherwise.

Prices include applicable UK VAT.

The total order amount is displayed at checkout before the order is submitted.

Placing an Order

The customer is responsible for checking the following information before completing checkout:

• Products and quantities;

• Delivery address;

• Email address; and

• Total order value.

After an order is submitted, an automated confirmation email acknowledges receipt of the order.

The purchase contract is accepted after payment has been successfully authorised and the order enters processing.

Payment

Payment is charged at checkout.

Product Availability

All orders are subject to product availability.

If a product becomes unavailable after an order is placed, we will contact the customer and provide a refund or an available replacement option. A replacement will not be supplied without the customer’s agreement.

Delivery

Orders are dispatched from the United Kingdom.

We deliver to England, Wales and mainland Scotland, including mainland Scottish Highland addresses.

Order Cancellation

Customers can request cancellation before an order is dispatched by contacting support@latchandpane.shop.

After dispatch, cancellation and return rights are handled in accordance with our Returns and Refund Policy.

Returns, Exchanges and Refunds

Return requests can be made within 30 calendar days of delivery.

Product Use and Installation

Products should be used for the purpose and in the manner described on the product page or in any supplied instructions.

Before applying an adhesive, seal, pad or film-related product, please check that the surface is clean, suitable and compatible with the product.

Customers should check measurements and compatibility before installation.

Nothing in this section limits rights relating to a product that is faulty, not as described or not fit for its stated purpose.

Commercial Warranty

Latch & Pane does not provide an additional commercial warranty.

This does not affect statutory rights relating to product quality, fitness for purpose or conformity with description.

Prohibited Use

The website cannot be used:

• For unlawful or fraudulent activity;

• To interfere with website security or operation;

• To submit false payment or delivery information;

• To distribute malicious software; or

• To infringe the rights of another person or organisation.

Intellectual Property

Website text, graphics, layout and other content owned or licensed by ASHGLASS LIMITED are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

Content cannot be copied, republished or commercially exploited without permission, except where permitted by law.

Liability

ASHGLASS LIMITED does not exclude or limit liability where doing so would be unlawful.

Nothing in these terms excludes liability for:

• Death or personal injury caused by negligence;

• Fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation; or

• Consumer rights that cannot legally be excluded.

For consumer purchases, we are responsible for foreseeable loss or damage caused by a breach of these terms or a failure to use reasonable care and skill.

We are not responsible for business losses arising from products purchased primarily for personal or household use.

Personal Information

Personal information is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy.

Changes to These Terms

The terms applying to an order are the terms available when that order is placed.

Changes to these terms do not retrospectively remove rights attached to an existing order.

Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, without affecting mandatory consumer protections available where the customer lives.

Legal proceedings can be brought before a court that has jurisdiction under applicable law.
